I did this drawing in about three hours. There's some inkling of an idea forming somewhere in the back of my mind that required immediate character designs (before I forgot the ideas completely). So far, I've found that it would be most interesting if I incorporated many different comic book styles within this idea, not just one.
So this character's features are defined through (obviously) Anime/Manga style. Other characters will have other drawing styles that will define their features.
Her name is Emiko Kôchi. I am not as familiar with the anime culture as most would be, so I took the first name from lead female character from "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" (or "Gojira"; which ever title is more recognizable to you), and the last name Japanese actress who played her. (As you can probably tell, I was a big Godzilla fan as a kid.)
Floating next to her is her Imaginary Friend. Emiko is the only one who can see her imaginary friend (of course), but her imaginary friend is still very real. Simply because others can't see it doesn't mean they can deny it's existence, right?
